WELCOME BACK TO MY YOGA CLASS 2!
Hope all of you had a great weekend and starting a fresh week! And.. hoping all of you have been practicing the breathing exercise regularly. Today we are going to move on some yoga asanas ( yoga poses ) called Surya Namaskar, Surya in Sanskrit means Sun, Namaskar means salutation. Surya Namaskar has a meaning to show gratitude to the sun. The Sun salutation is always done by at the beginning of class to warm up your body. It is a set of 12 powerful yoga asanas (postures) and these postures are very powerful exercise and maintain your mind and body healthy. Surya Namaskar is ideally done early morning on an empty stomach. However, it can be done in the afternoon or evening, but not late evening as Sun Salutation will awake your body and mind. To begin the Sun Salutation, you can watch this video a few times before you begin and please try with us. You can begin with 6 rounds and eventually increase to 12 rounds. Let's begin !
