A small story about ginger : Did you know that ginger is best to take in the morning and afternoon but not in the evening? In traditional Chinese medicine, there are Yin and Yang' qualities in everything and ginger has yang quality which has rising, active and warming energy. If you think about human nature, we should be active during the day for your work and daily schedule, but evening time should be restful and calm for slowing down your day and to get ready for your sleep. Ginger is yang quality, so it is best to take in the morning to activate your body and mind.
